1. Introduction

Traksha ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal investment tracking application designed to help you manage your investments privately and securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Data Collection

We DO NOT collect any data.

Traksha operates entirely offline and does not:

• Collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Track your location
• Access your contacts
• Collect financial data or account information
• Use analytics or tracking tools
• Communicate with external servers
• Share data with third parties
• Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

3. Data Storage

All investment data you enter into Traksha is stored locally on your device only using encrypted local storage (Hive database). This data includes:

• Investment details (name, amount, type, dates)
• Financial calculations and analytics
• App settings and preferences
• Security settings (PIN, biometric preferences)

Important: This data never leaves your device unless YOU explicitly create a backup and share it manually.

4. Backup and Export

Traksha provides optional features to backup your data:

• Encrypted Backups: You can create password-encrypted backup files (.enc) that you control completely
• CSV Export: You can export your data in CSV format for use in other applications

These files are generated locally and can be saved to your chosen location (cloud storage, email, etc.). We do not have access to these backups or exports.

5. Security

Your data security is our priority:

• Local Encryption: All data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored locally
• PIN Protection: Optional 4-digit PIN to secure app access
• Biometric Authentication: Support for Face ID, Touch ID, and fingerprint authentication
• No Internet Access: The app operates entirely offline, preventing data leaks
• Secure Backups: User-controlled password-protected backup encryption

6. Permissions

Traksha requests the following device permissions:

• Biometric/Face ID: (Optional) For convenient app unlock using fingerprint or face recognition
• Local Storage: To save your investment data on your device
• File Access: (Only when you initiate) To save backup files or export CSV files

We do NOT request: Internet access, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive permissions.

7. Third-Party Services

Traksha does NOT integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs. The app is completely self-contained and offline.

8. Children's Privacy

Traksha does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app operates entirely offline and collects no data, it is safe for use by all ages.

9. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual investments within the app
• Clear all data using the "Clear All Data" feature in Settings
• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all data from your device

Since we don't store any data on our servers, there is nothing to delete on our end.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
• Apple App Store Guidelines
• Google Play Store Policies

12. Your Rights

Since Traksha does not collect any data, the following rights are inherently protected:

• Right to Deletion: You can delete your data anytime from within the app
• Right to Portability: Export your data via CSV or encrypted backup
• Right to Object: Not applicable - we don't process any data externally
